HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

That's fantastic, 82 and you are pop up camping across the country. In fact that's encouraging. We are in our mid & late 50's and pop up camping on vacations with a Coleman/Fleetwood '99 Nevada. We have been considering a '05 Niagara. What part of Alabama are you visiting?

Happy Birthday

If you don't have reservations for a campsite in South Dakota (I'm assuming you are going to do the tourist thing?) I recommend you stay at the Horse Theif Campground near Hill City.  We have used them twice as the home base to go to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Rapid City, etc.   I found them in the AAA Book and I think they have a web site.  Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse are both within 10-15 minutes of the campground and must sees.   The same couple was running it 11 years ago, and when we went back 2 years ago.  They are very friendly and helpful.  The restrooms and showers are kept very clean (take quarters for the shower).  They have a nice little store where you check in and in the same building, on the side, they have washers and dryers.  It's a very nice and friendly place.

Have fun.

Joan

JAL & JKL: We will be staying for a week at Dutton which is near Scottsboro in N. E. Alabama. Can't wait for tomorrow when we leave. Thanks for the birthday greetings. My motto: You aren't old till you say you are.
