Title: Sites with private hot tub?
Post by: hbfc6 on Jun 29, 2005, 09:44 PM
We just got back from Myrtle Beach. We stayed at Willow Tree RV Park. We had a site on the lake with our own private Hot tub. This is the only campground I know of with Private hot tubs. The Park was very nice. It was worth driving a 1000 miles one way. The sites were big with a nice view. The restrooms were individual with a shower in them. The campground filled up during the weekend but during the week there were only about 15 units camping. I have camped for over 40 years and it is the nicest campground I have been to. Does anybody know of any other campground with private hot tubs on a lake?

There is one in San Diiego called Campland by the Bay.  It is called the Super site if I remember right.  I don't think it looks out on the bay though.  I think it runs $120 a night.  I think it also has a washer and dryer too.

My idea of the perfect popup.....It has two stories,  circular stairs to the top floor which is fitted out with a hottub, bar and a juke box..........

Hmmmm ... I think I saw that one on "Lifestyles of the Rich and Shameless"

Seriously, though ... when watching one of the Motorhome shows on HGTV they showed a couple of motorhomes decked out just like you describe. Just add Mahogany railing, mood lighting, cushioned deck seating, etc on the top level. I guess it wouldn't exactly be a "popup", although technically the top did popup and fold down to protect everything while traveling. LOL

Me, even if I could afford the 1.5 mil price tag on one of those things, I wouldn't want too ... That ain't campin'!!!!!

In my case it would be "Life Styles Of The  Poor And Worthhless"........A side mirrror on one of those big fancy MHs would probably cost more than my whole rig, pickup and popup..........
