Howdy
I made reservations at Spring Gulch this weekend. They would not tell me what site I would be on. Is this common with campgrounds?

PS I'll be there this Friday and Saturday night. Stop by and say hi if anybody is there. Look for the black Suburban, Coleman Santa Fe and the chilie pepper lights.
A lot of places won't promise specific sites....but then again, a lot of places will. Go figure!! Have fun.
spring gulch , normally tells you, unless the person who took your call was only filling in, and doesn't do site set ups. they have three sections, a field section, which is open, but you have table coverage thats in the lower section. Then you have around the lakes and stream, wooded area (nice area) and up on top of the hill also wooded, but if you have a tranny problem or are loaded to the max, you don't want a site up there, very steep climb. and if you have kids, and they want the game area and pool and lakes, than you need to be down the hill, Its a bit of a hike up and down. I would call back and ask.
