I'm negotiating the price of a 2006 Fleetwood Timberlake PU. Has anyone purchased one or the previous years Fleetwood Victory? What was the price you paid?
I'm adding the A/C, awning, 12 volt battery and battery box, electric brake control system w/ 7-pin connector and wiring. I'd like to know what others paid so I may be on better ground to negotiate.

At the 2005 RV Show here in Atlanta last January, the local dealer was offering the 2005 Victory for $ 8,495.00.
This included besides the standard equipped items, the 15 K BTU AC, awning, battery and tray, and brake controller. Pretty much just what you are looking at.
My past expierence with Fleetwood price increases year to year have been in the 2-3% range estimate.
Now keep in mind, this dealer has the reputation as being the best priced guy around when it comes to new PU pricing.

A decent rule of thumb (so I've heard on SEVERAL camping boards, including one that doesn't subscribe to popups) is to take 20-25% off the MSRP, and you have a good idea of a good price. More exactly, 23%. Some get more, some get less.

My dealer listed the Victory with awning for $7799, the AC is $750. :)

Peco is still listing it as $8,495, but I don't think that includes air right now. Give them a call. They generally have the best prices on the east coast. According to Yahoo Maps you are about an 8 hour drive. Drive over on a Friday night, take delivery Saturday morning and camp in the Atlanta area Saturday night. Drive home Sunday.
