Title: BAL Leveler Problem
Post by: TheWeasle on Nov 04, 2005, 09:07 AM
I recently bought a BAL Leveler.  When I took it camping with me, I couldn't use it.  The screw just kind of "pops" in the bolt and it slips down on the thread. It's as if the bolt is stripped but it doesn't look like it. Anyone ever heard of this?  Am I not using it correctly? I hate to have to return it because it weighs so much the postage will be expensive.

Norco Industries has been pretty great standing behind their products. Most likely they'll send you a new one and tell you to not worry about sending back the old.

You can contact them at       800-347-2232  or by email Customer                          Service  kdewitt@norcoind ("kdewitt@norcoind.com").com ("kdewitt@norcoind.com")

You could see my previous threads on the subject.  The Bal leveler folks had a bad batch of products made in China.  However, they stand behind their product.  They shipped me an entire new leveler ASAP.  They said to keep the old one for parts.
