Post by: dinbo72 on Jan 12, 2006, 11:29 AM
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a good but affodably priced wood sign for my camper. Everyplace that I found has been on the pricey side. Thanks for the help.  Jim

We bought a camping sign a couple of years ago at a autumn festival. You can check out the type of sign we got at //www.carolhope.com   When you go to the web page click on view signs and then click on popup camper sign. She will customize the sign any way you want with your name, address, etc. The sign is made out of weather resistant plastic and is painted with outdoor paints that are garanteed to last. She does a really good job of customizing the signs and they are not all that expensive.

The show season is upon us and you can usually find a wood carver at many of the RV and Camping shows held around the country this time of year.

Your timing is excellent, there is a show in your area right now:

January 7-15, 2006
2006 Pittsburgh RV Show
The David Lawrence/Pittsburgh Convention Center
Pittsburgh, PA

Not sure what your "pricey" range is, but you should be able to find what you want and even get a carved image of your RV on the sign.

Happy hunting

Kelly, I know the page still works, but have not heard from Beth in quite some time. So not sure she is still making the signs anymore. Let me know if you get a response, if not I'll probably remove her page from my site. She did a brisk business for a while, made the signs custom to look like your own unit. They were a little expensive, but not when you consider it was customized for you and your unit!!

When you go to the sign post, look under sports signs and scroll down and you will see camper signs. The one showing before you click is the PU sign I have....Ed C :sombraro:
