When removing our cassette toilet we noticed yummy fluids in the handle divets. Why are we getting fluid there? How come not all is making in the holding tank, it's not alot but enough for you not to want to handle it.....any thoughts?

The only time we get "fluids" (water) on the handle is when I miss the tube while filling the flush tank. Possibly that's what happened?
I told my hubby I'll just get him some disposable rubber gloves :p , I don't know what is happening, It seems to be leaking.....from when you flush to when it enters the holding tank :confused:

You might need a new seal for your cassette. The seal and valve should also be lubed. Olive oil or Thetford valve lube are the only products that should be used. Do not use vegetable oil! This is from Thetford's web site "The valve blade seal is a part of the toilet that is subject to wear. Depending on the extent and manner of maintenance, after a certain period the seal will lose quality and must be replaced." The seal is easy to replace. Just unscrew the 6 (I think) screws around the opening. Remove the plastic piece over the seal and then remove the old seal and put the new one in. When I did mine there were instructions with the part. Good luck.:)
