Title: Mpg
Post by: TexasCamper on Apr 06, 2006, 01:29 PM
I was just wandering to the gas mileage that you are getting with your TV.  Gas is on the increase every day.  I got 16 mpg on the last trip to the Texas Hill country from Sugarland,  TX  and I (truck)was loaded to the max.

My 1999 4x4 Dodge Durango SLT w/ 5.9L averages about 15mpg when towing on relatively level ground.   But give me a steep hill and it drops to about 8mpg! :yikes:

My Vue averaged 19mpg on our 5000 mile trip all over the western US and Canada pulling our old Westlake (2750lbs) over the rockies, sierras, and coast ranges with 4 passengers.

My Ram got a little over 16.5 for the first year and 9000 mi. Tow the PU for over 3000, most of the rest in town driving.
