Title: Great Customer Service
Post by: Starcraft Dad on Apr 19, 2006, 10:46 PM
I purchased the Trailer Lock a couple of years ago to help protect my pop up from theft.

Last fall, the sleeve pin broke off when I was removing it. I recently contacted the company so I could purchase another pin. They wouldn't here of it. They told me that it should have not broken off and they would send me a new one. All I had to do is send the broken one back (they payed for the shipping) so they could study it and see where it failed. So thanks to the Trailer Lock people for doing such a great job with thier customer service.

It is always good to hear about a good company.  So often we only hear the complaints.  Thanks for passing the good news along.:)

You mean like the service at Jiffy Lube?  I was there last night.  Before I could get out of the car, they had punched in the tag #, then:

They then proceeded to:

I know a lot of "customer-oriented" businesses that could learn a lesson or two from them.

  • Greeted me by name,
  • Asked what service I wanted today,
  • Asked if I wanted the the high-mileage XYZ oil I got last time,
  • Told me they would be done in about 15 minutes
They then proceeded to:
  • Put at least 5 persons to work on my car,
  • Change the oil & lube the chassis (what I was paying for),
  • Wash the outside of every window,
  • Vacuumed the floors,
  • Checked tire pressures,
  • Checked all other fluid levels,
  • Topped off the brake fluid,
  • Checked a few other things I don't remember,
  • Finished in less than the 15 minutes they promised.
I know a lot of "customer-oriented" businesses that could learn a lesson or two from them.

Yes like them.  We don't have a Jiffy Lube near where we live, but after hearing about the good service from you I would use them when traveling.:)

It is adjustable for different size tires so I see no reason why it wouldn't work.  Your brakes won't get in the way.  If you are unsure if you still want to get it, contact the trailer Lock people using the e-mail link or call this toll free number:
