Finally did it. Drove about 45 minutes to a dealer that was actually open until 8 (most close at 5). They had a very nice 2004 Flagstaff 227 for what I thought was a great price.

So the wife and I have joined the club of happy and proud owners of a popup. :D

We're going out the weekend before Memorial day but we might sneak out earlier. ;) We take delivery next week. We've been tent camping but we can't wait to get out in this thing.

There's always "Camp Driveway"! Not a bad idea either, just for getting familiar with the setup of your shiny new PU!

Congrats on your new toy! You will love the Flagstaff (and those heated mattress covers). That makes it SO nice in cooler weather. I'm very happy with my Flagstaff.
