Instead of buying a air conditioning unit to go on your PU roof, I heard an idea from a fellow PU owner of just buying a small window A/C unit and just setting it on top of his sink inside so that the water from the A/C unit would have a place to drain. He said he doesn't use his sink much anyway. Although it wouldn't look "pretty", it would be a cheaper alternative. Any thoughts out there on this idea?

The heat from his AC unit would be blowing in the PU. Kind of defeating the purpose of using AC.:)
We have camping friend who would lift the canvas from the back of the popup, it is just in a little slide thing. Then they would put the A/C there over the dinnette and support it with a table and some boards on the ground.
It worked great without the expense of a roof top.
