Title: cleaning pullouts
Post by: smokeman on May 28, 2006, 07:49 PM
I am new to this. But I have a 2000 Coleman Utah and would like to clean the vinyl and canvas on the pullouts. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

Are you talking about simply washing the dinette pullout?  The tenting there is handled the same as the bunk ends.

Fleetwood recommends diluted Woolite to wash the Sunbrella fabric.  And Aerospace 303 protectant to clean and condition the vinyl.

They also recommend that you reapply 303 Fabric Guard to reestablish the waterproofing to the Sunbrella fabric after you have washed it.

If you want to use the 303 products to clean the vinyl, use their convertible roof cleaner and then the protectant. I like Protectan all better than the 303 for cleaning my vinyl. I do use the 303 Hi Teck Fabric Guard to treat the Sunbrella and the Protectant on the PU's tires.:)

No, no, no... we don't want to protect the ants. We want to exterminate them!

Title: Cleaning supplies
Post by: endless horizons on Jun 08, 2006, 09:13 PM
Hi. I'm a little confused. Is the sunbrella the canvas material? I know what the vinyl is. Also where do you purchase the cleaning supplies.

Thanks
Maggie

Sunbrella is the tenting on most (but not all) Coleman/Fleetwood popups.  Fleetwood uses a light grey Sunbrella Material.  I buy Protect All at Wal-Mart and the 303 products through my RV dealer or at a boat shop (marine store).:)
