Hi kh48,
I am in the exact same boat that you are with my ABS roof. I have a 96 model that I bought a couple of years ago and noticed several small cracks last month. I went to a local large RV dealer and spoke with one of there long term employees in the service department about what I should do about it, and he told me to use a rubber roof sealer called Plas-T-Coat on it, and that I should not have any problems with the roof after that. I bought a gallon of it and it goes on like a thick paint, and it is very white in color. It doesn't look too bad, and the cracks are staying sealed at this point. I did two coats. I put it on a couple of weeks ago and just returned from a five day trip with the camper and so far, so good.
I wish that I would have known about this website when I bought the camper, as I probably would not have bought one with an ABS roof, but I have what I have and I really enjoy the camper. Let me know if you have any questions about this method. He did say that I should do this every two years.
Where can you buy Plas-T-Coat? Thanks.

Sorry, but I misspelled the name earlier. It is Plas-t-cote.
I bought it at a local RV shop, but did a quick internet search and there are several links out there. Here is one.

Thanks for the tip. I also was told that urethane Marine Caulk in white works very good also, but you have to open the cracks a little . Go to
rv.net and look in there forum under folding trailers it was posted 09/23/04
