DW and I are painting the house this weekend. We are going camping _next_ weekend when it isn't so chaotic.
Good for you! This is the one time of year we actually get all the (extended) family together and get caught up. We have been to Tahoe (can't move with all the traffic) and San Diego (same thing) so have found it easier to stay in town and take off on the 5th!! Crowds have died off and calm is again restored and we're caught up with the family for the year! Yay!
We are doing the same thing. Staying home this weekend and camping next weekend for a week long rally with some of our PUT friends.:)
We too are doing the yard thing (and a sweet awnig mod, and that air conditioner gutter mod). I thought about it and finally said, who ain't camping this weekend. We'll start hitting it again next weekend. Good Luck all...
