Ok we have gone on two trips with or pop up now and getting pretty comfortable with it. We would like to take a trip to upstate new york or possibly new england states. Does anyone have any suggestions? We would be going in two weeks.
Thanks for any ideas

dont know how far ya want to go but smithmountain lake is real nice
I don't think it would be up state, but we recently went to a rally in Watkins Glen SP. Really nice park. Good scenery. Pics are in my sig block.
Define "Upstate NY". We're partial to dry camping in State parks or Adirondack DEC campgrounds. Favorites include Watkins Glen in the Finger Lakes and Cranberry Lake & Rollins Pond in the Adirondacks. Watkins has an electric loop but it's probably all booked up. We also like North Pole Resorts for full hookups in the fall in the Adirondacks (near Lake Placid.)
We spent a week in Gloucester Ma last year at Cape Ann Campsites. Nothing too fancy but the staff is wonderful. We caught the Rail to Boston, did a whale watch in Gloucester & toured Rockport. The kids would love the Boston Aquarium! In August we're doing Bass Harbor (Acadia / Bar Harbor) for a week then back to Gloucester for another week.
We've also camped in the Allegheny National Forest cg's near Bradford Pa. No hookups but there are some electric sites.
mbopp,
Thanks for the suggestions, we looked into North Pole Resorts and booked a week there for our vacation. We will be staying in the hundred acre woods section. It looks pretty nice and my wife remembered staying at the resort for a ski trip when she was in high school. We can't wait.
thanks for all the suggestions.
