Looking to buy a PU, any suggestions on dealers or RV shows in the southeastern michigan - northern Ohio area, I've been to about 5 dealers so far (Fleetwood, Forest River, Jayco, Palimino, and Starcraft) and I like the Starcraft's I saw at General dealer in wixom the best for price and value, the fleetwoods were by far the best PU, but being a single father I'm on a buget, I'm not in a hurry to buy and want to find the best deal out there for me. Are you in a hurry to buy? If not take your time and you can expect to get at least 25% to 30% off of the list price for a PU. I don't know your area, but check around and see if the dealer has a good reputation concerning their service department. Good luck on finding the right fit on a PU and there are some good used units out there.:)
Hi tlhdoc, no I'm not in a hurry to buy, in fact I have no problem waiting till spring to buy, just looking for advice on getting the best bang for my buck on new or hardly used, how can I get 25-30% off? Should I keep going back to the same dealer to see if they have better deals? I don't want to be a problem custmer either, any advice on dealing with dealers is very welcome, I'm in my early 40's and have never been good at cutting deals. Thanks Mark

Hopefully you already figured out what you can tow. Don't want to get something that makes you upgrade your TV right away.
