Title: Waterpump?
Post by: Rangerob05 on Sep 11, 2006, 09:40 AM
Ok, Thanks for the help on the bathroom issue.  Once more thing.  I know I need a heater, But do I NEED a water pump.  I will be using the hook up(hose) water.  Will that have enough pressure to take a shower.  Right now the pop up has a small 10-12 storage tank where in one of the benchs I will be removing that and installing the heater there.  Pretty good design for the tub(will post pics once done).
I keep reading about water pumps.  If I am not storing the water do I still need a pump or will the water pressure from the hose be enough?

Thanks

Rob

I know each campsite has different pressure.  But I can hook a hose sprayer on to it and so far all have had pressure.

The water pump is only used when using the onboard tank.  When connected to city water, the only function of the pump is to act as a check valve to keep that connection from going into the tank.

Good luck with your mod.

You will not need a water pump if you are not going to have a fresh water holding tank.  :)
