Title: Help in repairing an awning
Post by: nctiger87 on Sep 14, 2006, 12:55 PM
On our last trip, my 13 yr old son got in too much of a hurry and started bringing down the roof of the pup before we had taken the awning down.  Before i could stop him the left side of the awning ripped from the seam about 10-12 inches!  Any ideas on how to fix, repair, or where i should take it.  One of the local RV centers said my best bet would be to an upholstery shop?

Hello nctiger87 and Welcome to PUT
not sure if you mean it ripped from the storage bag or the front bar. From the awning bag I would just hand sitch it back, since it will not be seen and from the front bar I would let an upholstery shop make the repair.
Good luck
