RV Enthusiast just didn't do it for me. I've heard from a lot of readers and a few publishers and resellers who advised me to quit.
I still camp in a pop up and don't see that changing anytime soon. So, I'm going to re-introduce Pop UP Times magazine in December. I'll be editing along with Terry Hanley and hope to recapture your loyalty.
I am very open to your suggestions, your articles, your tips and almost anything you'd like to share with reader who might not be following this forum.
I am available via email or you try to catch me in the office at 703-641-2800.
Thanks
Dave

Hey Dave!
I must say that I think this is a wise decision, I know that many here will welcome PUT back with open arms and checkbooks. I would like to post a little blurb on my personal camping website as well. I would like to reiterate the subscription price, frequency, and any other pertinent info that you want shared. Would you be so kind as to remind us as to the specifics and anything that would would like describing the "rebirth"?
Glad that I still have more of my PUT bumper stickers!
This forum rallied around you a few years back, and I hope that this will bring the same kind of reaction.
Welcome back, and Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Larry
Well I for one miss the ol' PUT. I will certainly support you Dave. Looking forward to seeing the new PUT!
I am afraid I don't see where to sign up.
Never mind, I found it. Count me in.
Hi, I signed up for RV Enthusiast on November 6th. Does that transfer my subscription over to PopUp Times, or do I have to subscribe again?
Thanks.
Ditto Fallsrider's question. Rv mag. was ok, but I loved pop-up times.
Hallelujah! I'll look around to see if there's more info as to whether we need to resubscribe or if the other subscription carries over.
Sound's cool to me :) .
I just bought a popup in early 2006 and popup times had already changed over. new mag. didn't impress me. i heard alot of good things about popup times, can't wait to see it back.
Dave, you have our support we enjoyed the put's and supported you with the new mag...even though we truly missed the old mag.....Know we stand behind you with our minds and checkbook.......
Yippie.....
I didn't subscribe to RVE, but did to PUT for five years.
Count me back in!
Dave, we're glad to hear the news and we look forward to seeing your mug next to the editor's page. :yikes:
We would like to see a travel destination in each issue. We realize it's difficult to come up with new pop-up ideas and not rehash chit chat from the board. However, there are numerous places we would like to hear about where others have been camping and interesting places to visit.
Our check is in the mail for our PUT subscription! :#
Keep up the good work!
Glad to hear it. How about a page dedicated to subscriber submitted camping photo's? I can't remember if it was in PUT's before.
We will be looking forward to reviews of the latest pop-ups. We love ours, but it's always fun to look! :D
Happy New year Dave,
I am so happy to know pop up times is back. I did have a subscription for rv enthusiest but I want to know what I need to do to re-subscribe to pop up times. I was wondering if I am suposed to go to the pop up store and order that way?
I do have a suggestion for the magazine. I hope you understand. We have had our pop up for about 4 years now and have purchased many items for it as a result of the information from this great web site. It is great to see the great changes people have done the the rigs and the decorator themes. But if you could also focus on the absolute necessary items. Many of the ones i have learned about on this site. like sand pads so your trailer won't sink in the sand and cause your door to not seal properly (it happened to me) and the weight distribution hitch stuff. Or maybe have a listing/reference in the magazine to this website and the info/repair/improvement thread. You know for us newbes or others who may not be as handy as the rest of the group.
I'm looking forward to the magazine and all the great information I will learn from it.
God Bless you
Maggie
Thanks for the support and the suggestions!
For those who asked - yes your RVE converts to PUT.

Dave, thanks for bringing back PopUp Times! I may a some point in my life migrate to another camper, but I have yet to fully explore my small Yuma, but at least to the extent that I have, I have discovered affordable and extremely relaxing weekends.
On of the major reasons I joined this forum was because of the focus on PopUp camping, and I have learned SO much without having to discover on my own. Truly one of the best forums from which I have benefitted by being on the internet.
