Title: Winter doldrums
Post by: AustinBoston on Jan 08, 2007, 03:43 PM
Looks like we're deep in the winter doldrums now.  No new campfire posts all day.

Sorry, studying really hard for my instrument rating test (flying).  REAL winter doldrums here.  More snow on the way Friday - talk of another 3 feet.  Hope we can get to the big RV show on Sat.  Wish me luck...

Sorry, guys.  Here in the Golden State, we had temps of 88 degrees today.  Kids wore shorts to school.  Perfect camping weather!

Nope - not here.  We really haven't seen much "winter".  And, I've been doing a little research into the family tree today.  It appears that I may have a little of that northern redneck stuff going on...

Spent most of the time after work cleaning and restocking the boxes after vacation. The short days of work have me looking real hard at getting back in front of a reefer. I hate that, havn't had to truck OTR since '79.

Now I really have the winter doldrums!

We are getting freezing rain here in Virginia.  It just started and is expected to continue through the night.

I could do without cold weather anyway, and I could really do without this "winter mix" and all the problems I will likely have getting to work in the morning.

I am just going to keep thinking about spring and camping and hope that someone will post some very intereting stuff this afternoon to keep my mind off the weather!

Sherry

Well, those little rodents known as groundhogs are predicting an early spring!   :S
