Our family is considering take the PUP over to Martha's Vineyard from Wood's Hole in August. Anyone ever done this? Any info on the Martha's Vineyard Family Campground?

Keep in mind that during the camping season, just bringing your Tow Vehicle over will cost $130-$150 depending on length (round trip). You would still have to pay for each memeber of the family, and the cost to bring your pop-up across is high enough that they don't put it on the web site.

AB is correct. Also because it is high vacation season in June, July & August I believe you have to reserve a spot on the ferry ahead of time. I have spent some time on the island, and it has it's spots like others. Nantucket is very nice also but no camping.
Another suggestion I might make is to camp on the Cape and make a day trip out it. But if you have got the cash, go for it. I have never camped at that campground but I did go by out of curiosity. It seemed okay, but I only took a quick look.
