I got up this morning and did my ritual of checking my email and the camping boards I post on.
When I went to popupexplorer, and tried to chick on message boards I got a black screen with fire dancing across the page. Then words started scrolling..something like
We are Karim and some other name (can't remember)
We are Turkish and Muslim terrorist

then stuff that wasn't english
I did a restore on my PC thinking I had picked up something, then tried again and got the same thing. That time I noticed the words Karim and the other name were in green across the welcome screen, so I think it is the popupexplorer web site.
I just got back from picking up my popup from the dealer, but I am afraid to try again. I know a lot of people post on both forums, has anyone else experienced this?

I just saw a thread on popuportal, it is definitely popupexplor, not me.
They said Dean had been notified and was working on it.

I've never been to that website before but I just tried it and it's OK here. :sombraro:
Maybe they fixed it or maybe a hub somewhere in your chain has a bug.
Yep. they got hacked pretty good. It's still not right, Dean is working on it from what I have read elsewhere.
You can get onto the board now, but if you click to read a thread you get re directed to some turkish/ muslim extremist site. Not sure what they think they accomplish demolishing a camping board.
I had the same experience just a few minutes ago. Looks like someone got hold of their website with a virus of some sort.
I went to messages and read them. Some are talking about losing the board yesterday.
It's working OK here.
Dino has it back up after the hack. He's used a day old backup so there's some post lost but not much.
We deny access to about 15 crazies a day here. You never know when someone will penetrate the barrier. Dean just went through a week-full of computer nightmares and now this. I feel bad for him.
