So far plans include:

Mousetail Landing SP - TN
Bandy Creek - TN  (2x)
Natchez Trace SP - TN
Davy Crockett SP - TN
Cedar Creek - TN
Lock A - TN
Montgomery Bell SP - TN

There are several other trips we'd like to make with TPUC - but have to wait for some schedules to be figured out first.  And, there are several more places that are close to home we can always fit in a spur of the moment week-end.  I am SO ready to go camping!!

We've got planned to date:
Assateague National Seashore
Sampson SP, NY
Cape May, NJ
Acadia NP, ME
Amish territory in PA sometime in July.

We've got other times planned, but without a specific destination set up yet.   The Acadia trip will find us there for about 5 days out of a 2 week trip.  We'll be staying at other places on the way there and also on the way back.  We've been considering Vermont and Rhode Island, but that's still up in the air.  We'll need to get into Pittsburgh sometime during the summer.

We have several planned also.

French Creek SP, PA
Watkins Glen SP, NY
Smugglers Den on Mt. Desert Island, ME
Susquehanna SP, MD

Thanks it for now.  Unfortunately we are probably going to have to cancel the French Creek trip.

Just remembered that next weekend it our 1 year anniversary of having a pup.  We are thinking of camping then also, but it really depends on the weather.

Well, along with my usual fishing haunts I always go to ... I'd still like to do a trip out to Idaho and fish Henry's Fork, wander over into  Montana and do the Bitterroot and who knows, maybe even head up to Alaska.

Everytime I plan a trip some "event" turns up to block my going.  Maybe if I just keep wishing I could go something might just turn up out of the blue!  Ya think?

Reservations for Pine Lakes Resort in Pittsfield, IL x6
Planned but not reserved-Roodhouse County Park as often as possible for short wknd trips and possibly a week to ten days in July, Greenfield City Park at least a couple of times, hopefully a trip to TX via Route 66 from St Louis to TX, a stop in OK to see friends, GA to visit DGC, 2 to 3 trips to Branson, at least one to Arcola/Arthur to the Amish area and when the other cgs close in the fall we will try to do Beaver Dam SP a few times and possibly Marquette SP.  The kids want to go to Disney World in Sept but we haven't decided for sure yet.  If we do we will combine it with the trip to visit DGC in GA.
We just know that we would like to be out every wknd if possible and as many long trips as we can afford.

Nope, can't make the Greek Festival.  In 2 weeks, we were going to French Creek.  But we might have to cancel that one.

Watkins Glen, for the G@TG?  I'll have to come over to meet you.

We only have one trip planned so far this year.  Lots going on son graduating from HS, son turning 18, son going away to college.......

We are going to Knoebels in July for our 2nd annual summer beerfest.  It's just a bunch of friends camping and hanging out.  The only rule is bring a beer that is unusual so everyone can try it and have fun.

We spent a week at Daisey State Park the week before Thanksgiving a couple of years ago and loved it.

We spent St. Patrick's Day weekend in Hells Canyon on the Oregon-Idaho border. Memorial Day weekend, we'll be at Bruneau Dunes State Park (supposed to be home of the largest natural sand dunes in the U.S.).

We also have a week planned at Farragut State Park near Couer d'Alene (former WWII base, I think or near one). Fourth of July weekend will be in the Sawtooth Mountains near Stanley (can't remember the name of the campground). DW and I have talked about a spur of the moment (no reservations) trip to one of the campgrounds in eastern Oregon. (We've talked about Unity Lake.)

We still need to plan for Labor Day, and I'd like to get in at least one August trip, another September trip (perhaps around our anniversary mid-month), and maybe an October trip. We'll see.

In the meantime, I'd be interested to know about other good Idaho and eastern Oregon locations (perhaps northern Utah as well) that you'd care to share. Thanks.

Tracy,
We enjoyed the pics of your camping trip. Any trouble towing out?

One of the scheduled trips we have is the rally, looking forward to it.

I want to thank you for connecting me back up with a campground I went to for many years. I saw Pine Haven, NH on your list. We used to always go there before the PU. But when I got the PU I didn't like the choice of w/e campgrounds on the top of the campground mixed with seasonals and open sites. They have some beautiful sites on the water at the bottom of the hill. None with hook ups when I checked a couple of years ago. I kind of had forgotten them until I saw your list. Some of the good ones now have 30 amp w/e. I spoke with someone at the campground and was told that they just did it a couple of years ago. We are looking forward to getting back there this year. Now that we have the AC I have to rethink some of the local campgrounds we use because some only have 15 amps.

How did you happen to come across them and have you camped there before?
Is there anything I can tell you about the campground or area? Given I haven't been there in a couple of years.
Thanks,
Mike
