I'll admit to only getting 49.
I didn't learn the song (but DD#2 knew it perfectly in 3rd or 4th grade); I pictured a map in my head and went thorugh putting names to the states. Unfortunately, I didn't realize I had put the same name (Montana) to both Montana and Nebraska. When I got to 49, I had enough time to go through again (and make the same mistake again :mad: ).

Too funny my daughter's 2nd grade classes just put on a patriotic program last Friday and they sang the Nifty Fifty song. It has been stuck in my head for the past week, LOL.

I got it, but it took me 7 min. to type it in with 3 fingers. It took me a while to get the right spelling for a few states!

I still remember all of them in Alphabetical order! I cant get it out of my head either..... I often wonder when I will be out somewhere playing trivia and just happen to have a question asking to name all 50 states in that order!! LOL This may be all I remember from School!! Sad,sad,sad!
It was the spelling that I had problems with.
