We have just purchased a 1998 Jayco popup camper. The camper has a cartridge type toilet. What I would like to know, does someone make an adapter that you could use in place of the cartridge which would allow you to go directly through the a sewage line. Thank you all in advance.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the pup.
I've never heard of an adapter to go into a sewage line and I doubt they exist. The problem would be the flow though the hose too low. The big RVs fill up their tanks a bit befrore opening the valve and dumping. Those tanks are 20 gallons or more, that cassette toilet is only about 5 gallons completely full.
The cassette toilets are really easy to empty into the sewer. I camped on a full hookup site this weekend. Just pull the cassette, open it and dump into the sewer.
Congratulations on the new PU. My 1999 Coleman also has a cassette toilet. They are easy to dump. someone did build their own adapter, but I would think they had problems with it. You don't have enough water flow out of the cassette. You also don't have a grey water tank to dump afterward to rinse the line. I dump my cassette into sewer hookups when we camp with full hookups. Post away with any questions or suggestions you may have.:)
The guy that managed this feat, converted his Higlander's cassette to be able to connect it to the sewer through a hose, when desired.
He modified one end of the cassette to be able to attach a sewer hose with a standard bayonet mount. If the hose was not to be used a cap covered the bayonet opening.
He also used a water hose, fed under the tent at the potty area, to provide enough water to flush with.
Thank you all for the replies. I guess I will just have to dump the cartridge. Seems much easier than trying to modify what I already have.
