Title: Help again "Gas Furnace"
Post by: My3buicks on Mar 27, 2007, 06:00 PM
Well, now I am having furnace issues, I can't get it to light - I cannot get the pilot to light - getting gas to the cooking top, but it seems not into the pilot light of the heater.  Do I need to take the unit clear out to service, who can service these? (a regular furnace person?)

What is the brand and model # on the furnace?

Have you ever lit the furnace before?

Title: what I did
Post by: pamela on Mar 31, 2007, 09:38 PM
My furnace had problems.  When I opened the front, the red light was blinking.  So I got the manual out and the blinking pattern indicated it needed service.  So I had it fixed, some ceramic housing was cracked and needed replacing.  I'll find out at out first trip if the repair worked. :yikes:
