Hey guys now the kids are old enough to bring the bikes with us but I need some ideas on gettign them here...Any ideas or plans for making a mount for the top of the pop-up o hold the bikes?

We are in the same position. We went to the Sportsauthority web site and looked at bike racks.There is one that mounts to the back bumper
of a popup.I think we are going to try that one.

Looks like I'm going to have to do some roof repair to my 73 starcraft, so while I'm in there anyway, I might try to re-inforce the top to carry a bike, or perhaps a canoe.... I'd especially be interested in any home-made plans or ideas anyone has for a top mount bike rack, as I recently bought a recumbent tricycle - and of course, it's too wide and big to fit on a typical bike rack. Even if I could make it fit, there would probably not be room for anyone else's bike, too - so I need room for 1 -3 bikes and the trike.
Ideas? links?

Wow - that's cool! that would definately adapt well to any bike, including any form of recumbent! The page is definately getting added to my list for future projects - Thanks!
