Title: Wiring up a Caravan / Coleman
Post by: cantlook on Apr 01, 2007, 03:42 PM
I have a wiring question. I have a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan. I am trying to wire this to my 2000 Coleman sedona. In the rear cargo area of the Caravan there is a large group of wires near the rear bumper. I have tried without sucess to locate the proper wires. I can get the running lights, the right and left turn, only. The brake lights will not come on when the turn signals are on. There is a seperate wire for the brake lights. Any suggestions.
On the front frame of the pu wires from within the frame stick out. There is a large blue wire, and seperate black & white wires with a plug on the end. What are the black & white wires for? I thought the blue was for the brakes, (which I am trying to hook up also). The 7 pin connector from the trailer has a blue wire already in it as if it is ready to hook up. Which wire is for the brakes?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Blue would be brake. My 2001 coleman tacoma has a white connector with black and a white wire for my battery. I have what i thought at first was a blue wire but it was actually green just sticks out of the frame with a crimp connector. Hope this helps Daniel
