Title: 93-94 Starcraft owners I need help
Post by: dkutz on Apr 02, 2007, 11:38 AM
I have been considering replacing my bearings and races.  Does the Dexter axle with four lugs have the races that can be removed?  OR do I have to buy an entire new hub?  Hard to tell by looking and I don't see the races on the dextler web site...

If you were to crawl under the backside of your Starcraft you should find a metallic label affixed to the back of the Dexter axle which will give the axle's  weight rating, the model number, the date it was manufactured and maybe some other data.  You can either e-mail Dexter with this info or call Starcraft Tech Services and they will give you the correct part numbers for the seals & bearings and whatever else you need.

I used to work in a parts dept for a construction dealer and you can pull off the bearing and bring into NAPA and I bet they can cross reference the number and most likely have the part in stock
