Title: LED Replacement Bulbs?
Post by: A2SuperCrew on Apr 05, 2007, 04:23 PM
I'm thinking of replacing the bulbs in all the interior lights with LED bulbs.  The current bulbs are too bright, and get VERY hot.  It would be nice to save some battery when we need to as well.

Have any of you already tried this?  What was your experience?

Does anyone have a good source for LED replacement bulbs that will work in the standard fixtures?

Thank you in advance!   :D

Counting down to camping 2007............

A quick-and-dirty power saving I did was to take one of the two bulbs out of our two double-bulb fixtures.  Not as efficient as LED's but it works in a pinch...

Got mine from this seller on EBAY (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUPER-RED-36-LED-CIRCUIT-BOARD-BULB-1156-1073-1093_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33713QQitemZ250094275072QQtcZphoto)  the best price I found.
another source is LED (http://superbrightleds.com/other_bulbs.htm)  go half way down to find the correct ones.

Wow!  Great web site!  Thanks!  :)
