I have the standard 3-way fridge in my 99 Coleman Mesa. I have tested the 120 and it works fine. My problem is with the gas portion. When I try to light it I either get a huge flame (lost some finger hair) or nothing. I am holding down the gas knob and pressing the red igniter button several times. I removed the cover and looked at the main burner and pilot. All looked clean. I even blew it off with some compressed air for good measure. Everything seemed tight, clean, and in the correct location and the igniter has a good spark. If I stick my ear to it I can hear flow. It appears that you are igniting the main burner to light the pilot, unlike the water heater where you are lighting the pilot only. I wish the lighting was as simple as the water heater (after lighting it correcly of course).
I hate the idea of taking it to the dealer for something that should be simple.
Anyone have any shared learning on this one? Thanks.
