Title: It's a boy !

Meet the newest member of our family :D
His name is Koda  & he is 5 months old
We just adopted him yesterday morning. Can't wait to take him camping.

See what happens when you get a dog while painting the house ;)

He's a sweetheart and a definate keeper. I have had this guy since yesterday late  morning and he's let me bathe him, brush him out,trim the hair on his feet between the pads  and about anything else I want without a flinch or fuss. He's bonded pretty fast. But he doesn't like jumping up into the van yet.

You'd have to go thru my husband too to get this guy.

He's going to make a great camping buddy. In less than the 48 hours we have had him, he has learned his new name (the neame he was given by the previous owner was the same as my sons name), he comes and sits by my side when called and is walking on leash by my side without tripping me..... NOPE no ones getting this puppy but us!

I'm still amazed we have him, it all happened so fast. I can't thank the family that gave him up enough.

He is really cute and sounds very smart.  Hope he does well camping.  We take ours all the time and she loves it.

He is cute! He reminds me of our girl we adopted 8 years ago as a pup. Someone had abandoned her by the side of the road. On his daily walk my husband walked by her and tried to coax her over, but she just growled at him. On the third day he took her some food as she looked like she had sat in the same spot for 3 days. She growled at first but then hunger overtook her and he brought her home and we gained the friendliest, most loyal, not to mention flat out SMARTEST dog we had ever been around! She loves kids. When he brought her home, I said "But I wanted a PRETTY dog, LOL!" he had her fetching and knowing her name in 3 days. Your dog reminds me a lot of her, she has some shepherd/collie/? who knows what else in her. She weighs about 55lbs. so is big but not huge. Boy does she HATE storms though! She will mow you down to get inside before we even know one is coming. Have fun with your dog, you have given him the greatest gift; life and your love!

p.s. I got a GOOD laugh out of some of the replies to this, they were SO funny! :-()
