I'm going out tomorrow so last night I plugged in the PU to an outlet and turned on my fridge using the 110 switch. Came home from work today and heard the thing humming kind of like a fridge does in your house. I hadn't heard that before but thought it might be normal. I went inside the PU to check the fridge and found that the noise was coming from the converter. Is this normal? Is there a cooling fan on the converter?

Thanks Wavery. I was getting worried. Will it just shut off when it gets cool enough? It's been running for some time now. I have the PU in my garage and it's a hot one today in Sacramento. Thanks again for your help.

I don't know about all of them but the fan in mine runs the entire time that it's plugged into 110.
