Prices in Indiana are $24/night on non holiday periods and during prime camping season. Would love to hear from as many states as possible your prices per night, might want to visit :U
California is $28.75 per night.

Illinois:
$8.00 for primitive with shower access.
$20.00 for EWS and showers.
Sometimes the rangers will barter somewhat on a non hoilday or off day. Had one pull up chair at suppertime and ate his fill of fish, fries and hush puppies. Let us stay an extra day for $5.00. Another time we got two dajacent sites for the price of one. Of course we had developed a friendship over the years with my boating /camping and hunting there.

In Michigan is all depends on the park.
Assuming at least electric hookup it's anywhere from $13 a night to $33 per night.
Rustics are typically $10-12 per night.

louisiana is 18 a night for prime and 9 for golden age (50 and up).
I am just interested in electric sites, no primitive or non-electric only answers. Thanks!! :U
Arkansas prices:
Electric or Water $13.00
Electric and Water $17.00
Electric Water Sewere $27.50
South Carolina:
Electric and water: $12 to $25 depending on the park.

On-Season** (April 1 - Oct. 31) Off-Season (Nov. 1 - March 31)
Basic Campsite $9 $8
Electric Campsite $16 $14
Electric/Water Campsite* $17 $14
Sewer/Electric/Water Campsite* $20 $16
*Water availability dependent on weather
This is what we pay in Missouri
The New York State fee structure is too complicated to understand. With that being said, I'll offer some numbers.
Basic fee, $13 (most campgrounds, but some can be different, usually more)
That sounds good, but you'll never pay that because you must...
Add to the basic fee:
Weekend or Holiday $3
Electric $6
Electric 50 amp $8
Prime $4
Prime Waterfront $6
Prime Oceanfront $8
W/E/S $12
Take your pick from the above list, cafeteria style, and add them up. We generally pay what they say without argument. It's hard to argue with your computer. Swear at it yes, argue, no.
I guess in most cases we're paying around $23 to $25 for a SP campsite.
Oh, that's right, DEC campgrounds may be different.
North Carolina: $20 for W/E sites.
Most if not all of NJ are primitive sites so you can cross that off your list. Sorry.
However, PA has some really great parks. They tend to be 14-21/night for electric. I would recommend Hickory Run and Ricketts Glen as two of the best.
Florida state parks are generally between $15 to $25 per night.

After I read this post, I thought "Wow, that sounded kind of grumpy  , LOL" Really didn't mean it that way at all. Prices for primitive and non-electric are fine but I also would like an electric price with it, too. Didn't mean to sound so blunt :p Thanks!!!
Okay, so far I have responses from 13 states:
IN
AR
CA
IL
MI
LA
NJ
PA
NC
SC
MO
NY
FL
Thanks so much! Now let's hear from some more :-()

For seniors (65 and older ) and handicapped the off season prices are in effect for "on season"
...after reading this post, it gets me depressed at how NJ is just primitive. We got some beautiful state parks down here in S. Jersey, just can't enjoy them in the summertime (per the wifes instructions).
I have been to Hickory Run in a tent....Am definitely going to look into Ricketts Glenn....
Georgia 24.00 a night
California is $9 for a primitive (off-season) with no reservations to $49 for a premium site with hook-ups, peak season (there is a $7.50 charge for each reservation that must be calculated into the price).

TN w/e sites range from around $16.50 to $19 night, depending on the park. A few parks have sewer available for about $2 more.
Just paid $18/night (full electric/water/sewage hookups) at Tyler SP in East Texas last week.
Minnesota parks ~
Base rate for
"Familiar Favorites" campsite $15.00
"Discovery Parks" campsite $18.00
Plus
Electric hookup add $4/night/site
Water and sewer hookup add $4/night/site (although w/s isn't available at most parks)
$8.50 reservation fee
Old Town Park at Perry Lake in Kansas
Sites are $12-$16/night. The picnic shelter is reserveable for $20.00/day. Visitor fees of $5.00 are in effect on weekends and holidays.
(Because visitors end up using the showers during Labor Day)
It's a ACE campground (Army Corp...) so I'd imagine thats the price for most ACE in KS but I could be wrong..
In Wisconsin, electric sites are between $15.00 and $18.00 a night. Then of course there is the ReserveAmerica fee. Still a pretty good bargain all things considered. There are only a handful of State Parks here with water, but the price stays the same.
And let me just brag and say that we have some of the most beautiful and well maintained parks in the country. Hats off to the Wisconsin DNR.
In Texas it varies. We paid 15 per night at Lake Livingston, 20 per at Galveston Island and Pederanales Falls. There is also a per person per day entrance fee at the parks and that varies too depending on the park. If you have a state park pass (cost 60.00 per year that fee is waived for everyone in your vehicle.:)

Nebraska State Parks
Electric site = $15.00 per night
Non-electric = $10.00 per night
There is also a State Entrance fee of $4.00 per day or $20.00 a year.
State Recreation Areas which are differant than Ne. State Parks have various fee's depending on pad, non pad, and most are non electric and location area of rec. site.
Okay, as of Saturday morning I have heard from 20 states! Great job! Any more out there that are not on this list please post! Thanks!!! ;) Especially need some more from western states and Eastern states :-)
I have heard from:
IN
CA
IL
MI
LA
AR
SC
NC
MO
NY
PA
NJ
FL
GA
TN
TX
MN
KS
WI
NB (I hope this is correct for Nebraska)?
Thanks everyone! Just wanted to note that the top 3 most expensive so far are:
IN (my state, and I don't know why). We have some nice parks but I think that is a lot to pay with not a whole lot of extraordinary scenery, LOL!
CA
GA
Maryland state parks are pretty expensive. Basic non-electric sites go from $15 to $25 with the majority of those being $20. The $15 are parks that don't have convenient bath houses.
Many MD parks do not have full hookup sites, just electric. The electric sites are usually $5 or $10 more than the no hookup sites. They go from $25 to $40. Most are $25, a couple are $30 and 1 is $40, that's Assateaque Island SP.
Not confusing like the NY parks, but not cheap, either.

I just remembered Nebraska is NE :p
Delaware Campground rates range from $23 to $33. Add $4 for non-residents.
Only one has full hookups (Seashore State Park) the rest have either just water, just electric, or water/electric hookups.
Here (//%22http://www.destateparks.com/Activities/camping/camprates.asp%22) is a link to the rates page.
After reading through this thread so far, I'm struck by two things. First of all - why do we NY'ers always have to complicate things???? Second - in Louisiana I'm a "golden ager." Woo hoo!
