Title: Forest River warranty work
Post by: ldgregory on Jun 25, 2007, 04:11 PM
I've got a buddy who has a Flagstaff 229 he bought Nov of last year (new from out of state) and has yet to take it on a maiden voyage. He took it down to our local (and only) authorized reseller for Forest River to dewinterize it. When they opened it up, they discovered the Create-A-Breeze fan had a leaky seal. One whole bunk end was pretty nasty with mold and of course water damage.

It's now almost three weeks since he took it down there and they just now have fax confirmation that he is warrantied.

Thanks.

Leif.

That's more of a dealer issue and one of the reasons there are so many reponses about the dealer being as important as the trailer. The RV manufacturers do not have the same relationship with their dealers that automotive manufacturers do. No real pressure from the top down as you can get from an auto biulder.
