Title: Modification question
Post by: CajunCamper on Aug 15, 2007, 09:06 PM
I own a 1997 Coleman Santa Fe with the small tires. I was wondering if it can be modified some kind a way to be fitted with the larger tires that the newer models have. I would feel more comfortable on longer trips with more substantual tires.

. Larger tires and rims will surely be a big improvement if you have enough clearance for them in the wheel wells. Be sure to ckeck this closely before switching.....

Probably no way to fit them unless you do an axle flip.

Not sure about the '97's, but the late model Santa Fe's have pretty good size tires. Lots better than the smaller tires on the older campers.
