Title: Brake Light
Post by: geronimo on Sep 15, 2007, 02:33 PM
How do I get the red cap off to change a bulb in the brake ligth? It looks like I need to push a white metal piece in and pull the red part off. I'm afraid I will add too much force and crack it. Does it come off easily?

There are a number of different styles of tail light.  It would help a great deal if we knew more, such as the model & year of your camper or the style of tail light.

Hi,

Most taillight covers are held on with a 2-4 'tabs' in the red cover.  Usually, these are pressed in a touch to release the cover.

The small marker light covers often have a 'notch' - they pop off with a small screwdriver or knifeblade.

Good Luck,

Todd

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
