Title: What time should set my alarm for ...?
Post by: popatron on Sep 17, 2007, 12:45 AM
Hello:
I would like to reserve a camp site in Upper Pines, Yosemite.  What's the earliest time of first day available can I reserve through Reserve America?  Is it at 7 a.m. or as soon as the clock goes past midnight?
Thanks for your help.

I would assume that kind of depends on your time zone...

I don't believe you are going to have much success using Reserve America, as they don't handle the reservations for Yosemite Valley campgrounds.

You might want to try Recreation to reserve a site in Upper Pines Yosemite.
I believe they open for reservations on the 15th of the month at 10:00 am in the morning Pacific time, 5 months in advance.

Try calling them to confirm.

Thanks, 6quig.
The nested website looks just like reserve america but it's DIFFERENT.  I would have gone the wrong site!
In any case, I called and got some answer: 8 a.m., 15th of every month for each round of reservation.
