That's interesting! I don't understand why the roof pops up though, on a TT. It only gives you an extra foot or so of headroom, right? And not more chances for the roof to leak?
I'm not sure what the advantage of this is. It looks as though it may have a lower profile than a regular TT, but not much.

That's an Australian Jayco.
The lower profile has less drag and can fit in a garage.

When we were first looking at trailers we saw the Bantam Garage Model hybrid from Trail-lite (I think). It had about a 1' popup and basement air giving it 6'9" total height closed. The trailer was quite usable with the top down for roadside breaks or winter camping.

DH is 6'5" -- would love the extra head space! It would also be very nice to get into the garage.
