Title: Hurray for cooler Fall weather.
Post by: erich0521 on Oct 10, 2007, 06:16 PM
Went camping last weekend with my son.  It was 90 degrees here in IL and I ran the AC for a while at bed time.

Now it is 54 degrees and getting into the 40's tonight.

Gotta LOVE Fall Camping.  Love sleeping when it's almost cold, love campfires when its cold, etc.

Happy Fall.

I've been doing 5 nighters recently, and have actually had the heated mattress pad plugged in several nights.  But, the 90 degree days required the AC.  Love the cooler weather too.

We also love the cooler weather and the campfires.  Unfortunately it is been so dry around here there are burn bans everywhere!  That really takes away a lot of the fun!

We had frost Saturday and Sunday morning here in N MI. Those campfires sure felt good. Also nice to know the camper stayed dry and warm as toast. My old one would be wet as heck after a night of cold weather. This one has yet to show any condensation.....shredder

I too love camping in cool weather.  This weekend it was great!  The weekend before I was roasting as it was in the 90s.:)

Camping in shorts and a T-shirt day and night is my kind of camping. Although I do admit a bad day camping is better than a day at work.

Hi Tracy, Hope all is well with you and yours. We didn't get to go camping on Columbus day weekend, you know that bothered me. But we have to be responsible adults, I think. Did you have to pull out early on that weekend? Hope everythings okay. Talk to you soon.

.

I like the cooler weather better. No bugs, less people, enjoy campfires more, like to sleep when it's chilly, camper feels more cozy, fall colors, ect...
