Dearest popup family,
Many of you have probably been watching the news and the horrible devastation caused by the fires in our county. Yesterday as I went to wall mart I saw some fellow popuppers camping in the parking lot. Obviously evacuated from thier homes.
We live in Rancho Penasquitos and have remained unaffected by the fires but still on standby in case we are asked to evacuate. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have my popup in a situation such as this. I was thankful during the cedar fires 4 years ago but now that we have been asked to be on standby, I'm even more greatful.
I humbly ask the popup community to please pray for all of those who have lost thier homes in our county. Also for all the firefighters and disaster personnel.

Our prayers are certainly with them.
A lot of us are personally effected by these fires on one level or another.
Griffsmom & griffsdad have been near evacuation for the last few days. Our prayers are with all of you.
Our prayers are certainly with all of you out there near the fires. I've been watching it on the news and can't imagine the fear and worry.
Will do. Must be terrible to be on edge...wondering if you'll have to get up and go. Prayers for all involved.
We will pray, but is there anything we can physically do? Anything we can send? Let us know.

My brother in law lives down there and was evacuated. His house was ok.
I have to say that I am so proud of the way the San Diego people are handling the whole thing!
Thank you so much for your prayers. We are now out of danger but much of the east county and north county are still not permitted to return home.
As far as what physical type things can you do. I will let you know. I know you can call the american red cross to make donations and specify it go to the san diego wild fire fund.
Please continue to pray for healing and patience for all those dealing with the insurance companies.
