Title: Pictures from McDowell Mtn Reg Park, AZ
Post by: AZsix on Dec 04, 2007, 09:18 PM
Here are a few shots from out trip the Friday after Thanksgiving in case anyone wants to take a peak.

The havalina that wandered through our campsite got away before I could get the camera from the pup.

Cool!!! Great pics.

Question????? I noticed in the distance in one of your photos that there were a couple of TT's under canopies. I assume that is because the sun out your way is so intense. Are canopies like that pretty common in your part of the country? I've never seen them before.

It is by Fountain Hills. Why are you waiting for three months? Come on down this way and camp. Nights can be chilly but the days can be nice.

I know! I know,  and I am kick'en my self for winterizing the PUP.
Allthough when the temps start dipping into the single didgets and everything is frozen I'm sure I won't feel that way.
My original plan was to store the PUP in the garage, but that will have to wait till my son goes off to college next year..crossing my fingers. :p
The inlaws have a three acres lot on the Northeast side of the Valley (county island) within spitting distance of Red Mountain, I could of..I should of.. I didn't... :yikes:
With only one weekend a month off it is hard to get away with the family, then throw in Thanksgiving and Christmas, New Years..Bla Bla Bla, Wha Wha Wha..
Did I mention it's Hockey Season, the family and I are big supporters of the
ARIZONA SUNDOG, great fun and a darn good team..(CHL)
OK, enough crybaby stuff. :o
Looks like late Feb. early March for us, when we go I will let you know where and when and maybe plan something.

Great Pictures.   I really miss Arizona. I'm leaving the 16th with my daughter to come back for Xmas. We'll be staying in Ahwatukee with my parents. Can't wait.

Cajun,

The canopies are for the host tt's. They are also the only ones that had sewer hookups too. I guess being a cg host has it's benefits.

Gary,

Those are great pictures. We have not been to McDowell Mountain Park.
We will have to check it out. Thanks for the reviews.
