If the cover is breathable you shouldn't have a problem.  Fleetwood did not recommend covering their ABS roofs, but even Fleetwood has sold covers for PU trailers.  :)

Be very careful if you use a cover made of Sunbrella. Make sure that it fits very well and I would recommend extra padding over all corners (like the 4 corners of the PU top)

Sunbrella chafes quite easily. If the PU is stored in an area that is prone to wind, you will find that it will develop holes, wherever it rubs on anything, rather quickly.

If I were going to use a Sunbrella cover (which I would), I would sew a very thin, pliable leather patch on the inside of the cover that would protect the cover from rubbing on any extruded surface, like the corners of the roof and the roof latches. If you have AC (or a roof-vent)  it would be advisable to sew a large leather patch where the cover will sit on the AC unit.

A Sunbrella cover should last about 3-5 years in the Sun, if it is protected from chafing. It will start Sun-rotting after 3 years. If it is not protected from chafing...I give it 6 months, if there is any wind.

Be sure to take it off and wash it in Woolite about every 6-months. That will get rid of any organic material that might rot the cover faster.

One note about Covercraft - their covers are custom made to fit your camper. They need the dimensions of your camper with the order.

You should also consider wheel/tire covers too, they make big difference. The sun and weather can really deteriorate your tires.
