We have our first trip of the new year under our belts. Lost Dutchman SP in Apache Junction, AZ was our destination. The weather was great during the day, about 65 but man did it cool off at night. To top it off our heater didn't work under battery power. It was a bit chilly and we could see our breath at breakfast inside the pup but we survived.
Last night the coyotes where extremely vocal. The camp host told us there is a pack of about 5 or 6. They start up around 8 PM and then again at about 3 AM but in a different section of the park which was a little closer to us. It sounded as though they were about 30 yards away during the night. We even heard them after breakfast for a little bit.
We took a short hike this morning before heading back home in time for me to see my Patriots advance to the Super Bowl. Though I live in AZ I am originally from MA. I had season tickets when they were terrible and went to every game so you know that I'm a fan and didn't jump on the bandwagon when they started winning.
I've included a link to some of the pictures that I took. I look forward to seeing some pictures from other parts of the country. I love seeing where others camp.

I have been thinking about that. By the time I go camping again next month it will start warming up here so I should be good. I plan on getting one before next winter.
Nice pics. Makes me homesick for Arizona.
