Post by: motor12 on Feb 22, 2008, 01:37 PM
went to the austin rv show last week just to look. well look turned in to buy real quick. my wife and i purchased a fleetwood cobalt last year to tow behind our jeep rubicon.we loved it but it is just a bit small.this year our TV is a f150 4x4 so we purchased a fleetwood santa fe. traded in the cobalt and picking up the santa fe next week.we drove to the dealers lot after the show was over to see the pop up we were getting. the dealer is adding the air cond. and battery ect. the only thing i was concerned with was the unit had a flat tire. i asked that the tire be changed out as i don't know how long it was flat and don't want any tire problems down the road. salesman said it was no problem. all in all i was happy with the deal. the moral of this story is don't think you can go to an RV show with your wife and come away empty handed.

Just curious Motor12, I bought a 1997 Santa Fe brand new from a dealer back in 1997. It came with AC plus the awning and the Add-a-room. I'm not asking for specifics on the price you negotiated, but could you give me a ballpark of what the new Santa Fe's are listing for?

i saw a 2008 on line for 12,982 and it did not have air. the price from dealer to dealer varies a bunch.
