Has anyone stayed at the ACOE Indian Point Campground on Table Rock Lake, Branson MO. My wife, and two young children were looking for a good campsite there but we cannot get a good feel by looking at the campground map. We like a little seclusion but still need a little grass for the kids to play on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to call the campground office and ask them about the campsites. I have done that on several occasions when I don't know anything about the campground and it is too far, to go check it out. Good luck on finding a campsite.:)
Another thing you might do is check out 'RVParkreviews.com', for a review of the campground. Someone may have posted which sites are good/bad for whatever reasons.

Well we reserved a site. I'm really exited about camping this year and the season being right around the corner.

webshots.com and type in the name of the campground, it's very possible someone has been there, took a few pictures and posted them on the site.

I was thinking that you might be able to find some satellite images of the park and see what the site looked like -
I found Google EArth - a free download -http://earth.google.com/ and got interested finding my old high school, the house I grew up in, families homes, etc.
It's free software, and some of the images are better than others - for example, a friends house in sheboygan WI is real clear of her neighborhood school, but her house is under cloud cover. A few blocks away the image was taken on a different day, and the whole lake shore is brightly colored, but no detail is visible close enough to identify buildings and streets - we couldn't see Kohler Andre State Park at all, except as a green and sandy blob on the shoreline.
Still, you might try it. even if you don't find your campground - it gets fascinating!

Google Earth is a great idea for scoping out camsites. We always try it before heading to a new area, but as you said, some areas are covered better than others. The area that I'm heading to has a lot of trees and the sites are not very clear. Thanks again for the help. Really it doesn't matter very much because "a bad day of campin always beats a good day at work".
Just remember Google Earth and the other satellite mapping programs are NOT real time. The photos of the area around my house was until last month 5 years old. They just put in new ones.
We have had folks try and use Google Earth to see if there were any open camp sites in a campground they could get for a weekend...LOL
