Does anyone with a newer(ours is a 2005 model 2411)Starcraft use a drill to lift the top? Our crank is a square one and I have not seen an attachment for this type of crank.

A local machine or welding shop could most likely weld a piece of scrap square and round stock together and have you in business for a couple of bucks

I would just buy an 8 point socket of the proper size at any tool store.
