I have a Dodge Dakota Quad Cab  4x4 V-6 auto.
 What is the max  GVRW I can tow and be comfortable ?

What does your owners manual say? Tow two-thirds of that and be happy.

Your tow rating is 4150 or 4550, depending on your rear axle ratio.

Now, you'll have to look in your owner's manual or online website to find out what your GCVWR is. You can tow virtually any popup with that tow rating, as long as you don't put lead into the truck's bed.
