What's the general time that everyone turns in while camping and when do you usually get up?
I feel like we're always the earliest to turn in and the last to wake up - just looking for a reality (or is it laziness?) check!
I generally come inside the PUP around dark-thirty, might have a quickie shower before changing for bed, grab a book and have an hour or so of reading before dropping off to sleep.
Generally I find myself waking around dawn - when the birds are chirping. Then I enjoy a nice cuppa coffee while I come to life and by that time quiet time is over and I'm ready to face the day!
Now, if the grand kids are with us, we might have a campfire, in which case bedtime is a little later.
We generally head to bed at Quiet Time and wake up when the birds wake us.
After dark we either sit by the fire or go inside and watch a DVD. Either way we go to bed between 9 or 10.
I'm the first to wake at around 6-7 and get right up drink some juice and I'm off for a walk. I love that first bit of time in the morning when things are still quiet. I know that I wake before most in the campground but never first.
If we're camping alone, my wife will usually turn in around 10:00 and I will usually stay up another hour watching the fire burn down and gazing at the stars. I always wake up around the break of dawn. If we are camping with friends we have been known to stay up until midnight, but I still get up at the break of dawn.

Ditto here...start coffee...But then I go right back to bed and sleep a little longer, DW luv's to sleep in, but she's still up at a respectable hour. I love to nap when ever possible during the day.
We would love to "sleep in" or at least get to stay in bed until 7 or 7:30! LOL unfortunately, camping with the kids, they are always up no later than 6 or 6:30 :( no matter how late they get to bed so to make for an easier day we try to get them in bed no later than 9. Then DH and I will sit by the fire a little longer and turn in between 10 and 11 or so.
We usually turn in around 10 unless we are out in the desert with our neighbors then it's more toward midnight. For work I am usually at work before the sun comes up so I'm an early riser anyway so when camping I'm usually up just before the sun. I love sitting outside by myself listening to the birds sing, enjoying my coffee while watching the day begin.
Family usually goes to be bed around 10:00 P.M. and awakes at around 8:00 A.M. I usually stay up until Midnight or later, either reading, writing in camping journal, going for a night hike, fishing, or campfire gazing.
We go to bed when we're tired and get up when we're not. After all, we're camping. The actual times can vary. Often we wake up with the birds but then roll over and go back to sleep listening to their natural lullaby. We also love the sound of rain on the camper. Rain will cause us to increase "sack time", usually keeping us in bed longer in the morning. We don't care what others might think about our sleeping patterns. After all, we're camping. DD doesn't want to show up until at least 9:00. I don't think it will be too many more seasons before that becomes noon.
We're SCCAMPERS
Sleep is optional....... :-()
What? no one said after the last adult beverage is consumed? I'm retired with no set schedule. We usually have a campfire and go to bed when we can not stay up another minute, then wake whenever we feel like it. Absolutely love rainy nights for sleeping, it knocks us out pretty quick. Sometimes we go to the camper and say we will listen to the radio a for a while, but that never lasts longer than ten minutes. Helps to have ear plugs for busy campgrounds. Sometimes after busy days, we are in the sack by 10 PM sometimes 1 or 2 AM in a woods setting with no one around. Leave the watch at home and have some fun...........Shredder

Ya....the word, "Sleep" is also open to different definitions. Some do it while falling out of their chair during a card game...... :J
 I guess you sorta had to be there.
We usually turn in around 10:00p.m. and get up at 6:00. We have to go pee. I like to get up at 5:00 if I can, but I try to sleep in on the PUP weekends. If we can have a fire then I like to stay up later in the evening.
Bedtime depends on the amount of adult beverages I consume. I usually get up early because most camper mattresses are too hard for me and my bones are screeming by about 6am.
I just picked up a new Jayco 19h and the beds are like torture racks so I'll be up early this camping season too.

Bed Time??? whats that??????????
Wait....OH, is that what happens when the sun comes up??
Bedtime depends on how many Cactus Coolers we have had.....morning time depends on how many Cactus Coolers we have had.
:D
You said a mouth full.......SCCampers don't have a set bedtime that's why we take those NAPS.......Hahaaaaaaaa

I'll 2nd that....
We are usually with a group and we play horseshoes till midnight or after :! . We use the regulation rubber ones after 10pm. That way when we hit the stake or another shoe it does not make any noise that could keep others awake. Early riser I am. Even after playing I still get up at 0530-0600. :S
We are usually one of the last to turn in, and unfortunately one of the first to rise due to our DS....we have to keep telling him to be quiet in the morning!!
To bed shortly after dark and up early with first light. I make the coffee then wait for DW to rise. Love the leisurely mornings.

The older I get the more sleep I seem to require. Since my primary purpose for camping is most always associated with fishing (and fly fishing at that), in itself requires a lot of physical activity. Wading a stream with a strong current can wear one out. So by the time it's getting dark ... and remember during the summer months the days are longer, I'm worn out!
My Starcraft bunks sleep real comfortable. What has been important is a couple of good pillows. With a good nights sleep, which usually means one middle of the night getting up and "looking at the stars", then back to sleep and getting up at dawn. I've always been somewhat of an early riser - I'm at my best in the morning hours. Usually I'm the first one up and I get the coffee going (and hot water for the wimpies so they can have their tea or hot chocolate). Normally I eat something light and grab the flyrod and head on out to catch the morning hatch on the stream; later we'll do "brunch" with the more serious breakfast stuff ... even been know to have fresh caught trout at that time, too!
Now, having said all this, there's usually a nap in the afternoon. Afterall, what are we doing in the great outdoors ... relaxing!

That pretty much sums it up for me, too.
I love to stroll the campground, watch other families start their day, start a morning fire, and maybe do some reading. DW, DD and DS usually wait until 8:00 or later to get up. Well, DS is only 11 months, so he gets up earlier, and if it is pleasant outside, I will entertain him so the rest of the family can sleep some more.
Well its just me and my wife and usually friends camp along too, so i go to sleep when i fall into an alcohol induced coma and wake up when my bladder forces me to so thats usually from 3AM to 10AM.
