Title: towable gray water tanks
Post by: jbb on May 30, 2008, 12:59 PM
If you have one of the towable gray water tanks like thetford makes, where do you stow it?  in the pup or on it?  in the tv?

We keep ours in the tv then stow it under the pup when at our site.  Sometimes we don't bring it at all.  depends on the campground.

Currently we carry it in the TV, but I am looking into ways to bungee it to the pup.  It's only gray water, but I'm still not interested in that being in my vehicle.

I have the 25 gallon Barker blue tote, and had to take it this past week as the place I was parking the PUP didn't have a sewer site available......it rode to the RV Site in the bed of my truck, and rode back in the bed of the truck.

Pattie,

Just wondering how often you find you need to take that size tote to the dump station?  Thanks

Mine stays on the trailer either right behind the door or on the deck (http://he-ruide.smugmug.com/gallery/3489359_sWfTk#263615208_yfbm4).

I bought a 20 gal tote because my Pup has a 20 gal fresh water tank so when dry camping I know if my gray is full my fresh is near empty. At hook up CG
